Red Velvet Cupcake Tips

What's the most romantic cupcake? Red velvet of course! Red velvet cake is by far my favorite one to make (and most requested). Here are a few ideas to incorporate into your own recipe to make it extra special!

*chocolate chips! A lot of people to really make the connection that red velvet is a chocolate cake, make it extra chocolaty!
*coconut flakes! I've done this and they actually compliment each other really well
*strawberry cream cheese icing!! Mmm yum!
*and my all time favorite.... NUTELLA! Add some to your icing, to your batter, or drizzle it on top. Sooo tasty!
